Information on buying a puppy
Here at Wynwhisper we take pride in the puppies we produce. We do not breed often, every litter is planned carefully, health tests and temperaments are at the top of our list when choosing a pairing. We aim to produce not only puppies that do well in the show and obedience rings, but also are healthy and have great temperaments. We do not have more than one litter on the ground at one time. We believe that every puppy is special, every puppy needs individual attention as well as group interaction with his or her litter-mates, I don't believe this can be achieved to the highest standard if there are too many puppies on the ground at one time. A number of breeders will have 2, 3 or more litters being raised at once, because the girls can bring each other in, we aren't one of these breeders.
Our puppies are raised in the house with us. They are born in our spare room, and brought into the family room when they are getting too big for the whelping box. Our puppies are well socialised and are given outside time from about 4 weeks of age, weather permitting. They are always brought back inside the house of an evening. We spend a great deal of time, energy and money in raising our babies, no expense is spared, and we therefore are very particular about placing our puppies. We only want the best for our babies, if you are a great owner, will treat your puppy as one of the family then we would love to hear from you.
We test all our dogs for the following
All our puppies come with a detailed information kit, 6 weeks free pet insurance, copies of health clearance certificates, DOGS NSW registration papers and some food to get you started. Our puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed fortnightly and micro-chipped before going to their new homes.
We do require a deposit by the time puppies are 4 weeks old to secure your puppy. We will NOT request a deposit before puppies are on the ground, and cannot condone any breeder that does. Please also do not over pay for your puppy. The only reason a puppy should cost slightly more than the average price is if the litter has been produced using imported frozen semen, where it would be VERY expensive to produce the litter.
